Few lines of history
Field hockey has been introduced in Stade Français in 1903 in Paris. Successes came quickly, as in 1905, the First Team won its first national title. Since then, thanks to dynamic managing teams and outstanding international players, the men’s team has won 24 national titles, which is the best track record in France.
In 2016, the First Team has won the Nationale 1 Title.
The first ladies team has been created in 1921. Like the men, our ladies have been very fast to be successful, as they won their first championship in 1925. Since then, the ladies team won 42 times the league (most titled club in France). In 2012, our ladies first met success both on the national and the international scene.
